In 4th grade, spelling will take a different form. We will be studying word parts and how to determine the meaning of a new or interesting word based on word parts and context clues. About every 2 weeks students will receive a new list of word parts that we will explore in class. During class we will be taking about the definition of each word part and brainstorming examples of words that include this word part.
